Just a friendly reminder that RHA's blog still has the open Q&A thread for those of you wishing to ask questions related to landlord-tenant issues. I've seen a few questions pop up recently, so good to see folks are still staying up on it.

Is the landlord responsible for the water bill due to a pipe leak outside the home? I was informed of the leak by the utility company and had the pipe replaced ASAP. Tenant is asking if he could deduct bill from rent????
Hello, any advice on handling prospective tenants who have inadequate or no income but say they have plenty of funds saved up in their bank account? How do you soundly verify? Any special precautions you should take before renting? Thanks in advance.
